Adungadoo Pathway Project

BUG-Roma was involved with Roma Town Council (RTC) during the concept planning and design of the Adungadoo Pathway.

The Adungadoo Pathway is a shared used (pedestrian and bicycling) off-road facility - 2.5m wide concreted surface. It links the Roma Visitor Information Centre and APEX Park (on Northern Rd) crossing Bungil Creek, running beside Shady's Lagoon and the Long Drain with connections to Edwardes St, George St and Hawthorne St (Central).

Funding was provided by Roma Town Council and a 'major project' grant from the Qld Department of Sport and Recreation, and constructed by Roma Town Council. It was officially opened on Saturday 17th June 2006.

The Adungadoo Pathway is the first off-road bicycle facility in Roma.

Check out the route on www.bikely.com.
